Come to the Dance Stage (5th Floor) on Friday at 8pm, and Sunday at 2pm to see a snippet of Other Life featuring Kelly Mayfield. We’ll be screening a few other works in between the fantastic dance numbers of Kelly Mayfield’s Contradiction Dance! It will be an amazing night, and best of all, it’s free!

Other Life : Day One

Today we began to roll tape on our first dance film featuring the choreography and amazing dance talents of Kelly Mayfield of Contradiction Dance. Kelly, Austin, and I have created “Other Life”, a short film noir meets dance to be premiered at the Source Festival this July. We spent the day shooting Kelly, Boris Willis, and Jasmine Artis. So far? It looks incredible. We can’t wait to show it off at the Source.

Artists’ Bloc : 12×6

Austin and I will have a reading of our latest short film script, Shoreline in this month’s 12×6, a production of Artists’ Bloc.

The event will be held on April 25-26, at 8pm in the Lab Theatre II of the Atlas Performing Arts Center on H Street NE. The night is free, but $10 donations are welcome! Come one, come all!

Hana Lass is presently appearing in Julius Caesar at the Seattle Shakespeare Company through January 27.

Year in Review

It is nearing the end of 2007, and we are fortunate enough to be working on the Auto Alliance’s End of Year DVD. It has been an insane 12 months for the auto manufacturers, with the CAFE standards changing, the new technology of hybrids emerging, and the price of oil increasing. This will certainly make for a packed video!

Monday commences our new journey with National Geographic TV. We’ll be shooting the anchor links for the TV program Wild Chronicles. There will be lots of exploring the Northern Virginian landscape in hopes of finding the perfect location for each new show. Lost on D Street

Go to THE WORK section to see our latest film shot for the 48 Hour Film Project, Lost on D Street. We had, as the festival title suggests, a mere 48 hours to write, cast, shoot, and cut this 4 minute piece. Sure there are some flaws, but Regina Aquino and Linden Tailor were fantastic to work with, memorizing their lines in mere minutes and laughing all the way. A special thanks to Regina for providing her entire family as cast members.We also had a great time working with Tommy Smith on the script and John Osebold of “Awesome” on the music. Enjoy!

National Geographic TV

We have just wrapped the National Geographic TV program, Geo Sessions, for which we shot and edited over 9 episodes. Snippets of our favorites are posted here. Alas, this program is only airing in every country around the globe, except the US. So it looks as if you’ll have to be satisfied with what we give you. WE DEMAND SATISIFACTION!
